Yeah, the Wheel of Lunch? That was MY idea. I even had a crude prototype working on this very site years ago. But alas, I got distracted by something shiny and never followed up on it.
Someone track down Noel Doran, Esq. (probably somewhere in Palmdale). He can vouch for the fact that I proposed building a (meatspace) Wheel of Lunch back in 2003 or thereabouts, and that said proposal evolved to include a web portal which worked exactly as this so-called "Wheel of Food" (pfft, such an inferior name) alleges.
Speaking of Great Ideas, my great idea that I developed this very day is for Wal-Mart to build colossal Super Wal-Marts, much the same as the Super Wal-Marts already in place, except that they have regular Wal-Marts inside of them. That way, see, customers who lack the endurance to ride their carts back and forth within the far reaches of cavernous Super Wal-Marts, looking for commonplace items that they could find with relative ease, regularly stocked in normal Wal-Marts, could just roll over to the regular Wal-Mart inside the Super Wal-Mart, and complete their shopping there in much less time. And if there are items they desire which are unavailable at regular Wal-Marts, well, there’s the Super Wal-Mart right there already. How convenient!
It’s not easy being a genius. (But you get by.)
