Jack in the Box finally raised the price of their two-taco menu item from 99 cents to $1.19 (plus tax). That’s still cheap as Hell. Even if they aren’t "real" tacos, they’re damn tasty.
If I remember right, Jack in the Box started (or at least promoted) their two-tacos-for-99-cents deal frickin’ 30 years ago and the price stayed that way through at least the end of 2015.
I’m not going to eat these any less just because the price went up 19 lousy cents. I’m amazed the price stayed the same for as long as it did.
Now if they would only bring back their nachos. Honestly, they were pretty hit-or-miss in the ’80s, but they were still damn good eatin’.
