Still better than leaving your heart in San Francisco

I’m back from Iraq, but I seem to have returned without my immune system. Every little cut and scrape is turning into a pussy pus-filled, infected mess. Still, considering how many people have returned from Iraq much less whole than me, I guess I should consider myself fortunate.
